"If I hold back, I'm no good. I'd rather be good sometimes, than holding back all the time." --Janis Joplin

Today was the best Wednesday I've had in the long time. It is Wednesday right? Anyway, week days can seem never ending but Jen (my boss) and I managed to escape for long lunch and did some serious thrift shopping!! I found some incredible stuff. I'll be off tomorrow so my day will consists of playing dress up! Can't complain...life is good.

Monday...bla

I can definitely say that self motivation was not in the cards for me today. With the abscence of most our team being out for the holiday break, that left the rest of us there asking, "Why the hell didn't we take the rest of the week off like everyone else??" I will say it was nice and quiet and the pace was much slower. We're had our concept meeting for Holiday 2010 and I'm so excited about the line!! It will be such a fun line to style for!! Well, David is listening to Cream on vinyl and I think I'll join him:) See ya!

Sunday Funday

Sunday was quite delightful. David and I woke up, went to brunch at Dream Cafe (they have the best oatmeal FYI), and did a little bit of shopping! We ended the day by cooking some incredible pasta and watching tv in bed...nothing to complain about there. Great way to end a short but nice Christmas holiday.

FINALLY! New Camera!!!

The day finally came! My mom and David gave me a new camera for Christmas!! Woo hoo! My 1st subject was none other than Ms. Marley....she was feeling pretty grumpy since her nap was interrupted. Anyways, check out my little pig in a blanket:)

My Weekend Recycled Outfit

So my wedding gown finally came in!! My family and bestie DeLayna (aka maid of honor) went with me to try it on!! To be honest I was a bit nervous because when I ordered the gown, I wanted it in a deeper ivory but the actual sample was in a lighter ivory color. So I was hoping and praying that the color that I chose worked with my skin tone. The dress turned out looking amazing and the color is stunning! I'd love to put photos on the blog but David looks at my blog and I'd hate for him to come across the my dress!
Well I hope everyone had a lovely weekend...Monday's always seem to come too soon.

wearing: black Sexuali-Tee from AA; J.Crew cardi; belt from Fossil; cords from Urban Outfitters; Tory Burch riding boots; scarf from Ahab Bowen

ps: I wore a version of this outfit all weekend - it's easy and casual without trying too hard.

"Where's your will to be weird" -- Jim Morrison

It's so icky outside, it seems like forever since I've seen sunshine. And it doesn't help that it gets dark at 5pm now. So to help me out, my good friend Dean has offered take my pics during our lunch break:) That is because morning pictures are most certainly not going to happen since I barely wake up in time to brush my teeth!
