Are you going to scarborough fair..

After a night of fun and "being over served", the only thing that could cure the dehydration was indulging in junk food and a big Dr. Pepper. Today's productivity included taking these pics and well...that's about it. I was back in my pj's by 6pm and I'm completely ok with that. Pretty impressive, eh? David's making corned beef and cabbage tonight and I can't tell you how excited I am! I've been a bit obsessed and have been begging for this meal for quite some time. It takes all day to cook but is totally worth it. If you have the urge, you have to at least try the dish at Trinity Hall. Nothing better than corned beef and cabbage with a pint of Ace Pear cider. I think I've died and gone to heaven:)

Me with nothing to say, and you in your autumn sweater

I really enjoyed this Saturday. It was spent with two of my best friends, going bridesmaid dress shopping, jewelry shopping, lunch and just quality girl time talking about anything and everything:) David and I went out with a few friends and stumbled across an AMAZING band called Binary Sunrise (rad band name huh!). Anyway, they're playing in a couple weeks at City Tavern again and there's no way I'm missing it! This band is definitely worth checking out! They have a little bit of The Rapture vibe. Good stuff.

Ah ha!

So I just had a bit of a "duh" moment. I completely forgot that I could do some fun photo editing in iPhoto! It's not Photoshop by any means but at least it's something! I played around with some of the effects with the photos below! Now I'm trying to figure out why Photobucket won't accept the effects that I made? I want my photos to be bigger so I tried using Photobucket as a host but my effects aren't working! I got some stuff to figure out. Is it Friday yet??

Insane in the Membrane

OMG! So I just got off the tele with my bff DeLayna (MOH) about wedding details!! I'm starting to get a little antsy since the wedding is only 5 months away! So much to think about!! Where to begin?? Showers, brides maid dresses, registering, menus, where is the time?? It's even harder when your wedding coordinator is in Jamaica (where the wedding will be) on a completely time zone. Seriously, they have no since of urgency around the beach...completely different lifestyle!

Any who, enough about wedding stresses! Work's been fun lately! We just got finished with styling outfits for the Summer catalog! The best line yet!! Very colorful, has a western indian vibe. Now on to Fall with over the knee socks, leather skirts, long bf shirts, and exploded floral vintage inspired dresses!

A Collage I Made Today

Hope you guys had a great weekend. Mine was pretty busy! Friday night was date night at the "Old Monk", a great little pub right down the street from us. We had dinner, a couple of pints, and great conversation. The night ended with David completely kicking my ass in Wii Mario Cart! We also had brunch on Sunday with his parents to discuss some wedding details! The day is coming soon!!!
Anyway, check out a collage I made today! The theme was "free-spirit" and all that embodies. These are so much fun and a nice relaxing way to creatively capture a particular mood you're in. Ok, gotta get in the shower so I can go to bed at a decent hour tonight!

More of Stalmans work (sorry, couldn't resist)

Oliver Stalmans

I've been on the computer for about 3 hours now listening to some Coltrane and came across a photographer that is incredibly inspirational. His name is Oliver Stalmans, a french photographer with no limits. His work is raw, sexy, chic, edgy, provocative, and beautiful. See for yourself.

More is More

I'm currently obsessed with this layered jewelry look. The more the better. The more random the pieces are...even better.

Paper Planes

So I bought these bad ass kicks over the weekend and I have to say they are definitely growing on me! I was a little apprehensive to buy them because they're not really "me". But I'm so glad my mom talked me into getting them. I have to say they make me feel like M.I.A. or "Jenny from the block" ish! I feel like I could kick some serious ass in these suckers;)
